Functional Nutrition

I use the principles of Functional Nutrition in my own life and in the lives of my clients to help with stress, weight management, fatigue, gut health, better sleep, and much more.

It’s designed to help you gain a deeper understanding of what’s going on in your body while providing a framework for making uniquely targeted diet and lifestyle modifications to shift the terrain and help you meet your goals.

The techniques in Functional Nutrition go beyond dietary theory, taking into account each individual as a whole (physically, mentally, and emotionally). In this way, it empowers you to take back control of your health and happiness.


I excel at helping clients achieve their diet, lifestyle, and fitness goals using a variety of evidence-based approaches like motivational interviewing, positive psychology, goal setting, and more.

Rather than simply telling you what to do, I empower you to use your own knowledge, expertise, and motivation as an encouragement to spur progress.

I serve as a guide, listening to you, and always staying with you no matter where you are on your journey. I won’t rush you along to a new stage of change if you’re not ready!

I help you gain self-awareness while drawing out insights about why you are considering change and how important it is for you.

Understanding your motivation for change is crucial, but you may find that it isn’t always immediately apparent.

Getting clear on your reasons for change—your “why”—can strengthen your resolve and allow you to better achieve your goals. 

Once you understand your motivation, it’s time to create an action plan. I help you build on what’s working (instead of dwelling on what isn’t) – celebrating your strengths and successes.

As you progress through your action plan and experiment with different steps and approaches, I help you stay accountable –remaining focused on your goals and personal growth.

Now living in Boston, and working with clients from all over, growing up, I learned about nutrition and healthy habits from my mother, who is a dietitian. Today, with my unique background rooted in both the holistic and scientific, I’m excited to help you thrive and achieve your goals for long-term optimal health.

Through my training and certification at Health Coach Institute, I’ve studied dietary theories, contemporary health issues and topics, and the art and science of habit change.

I’m also trained in Functional Nutrition certified through the Functional Nutrition Alliance. Based on the field of Functional Medicine and the study of the physiology of the human body, my education has included intensive studies of the digestive, immune, urinary, cardiovascular, endocrine, nervous (brain) and reproductive systems.
